Michael Moore (“Fahrenheit 9/11″) has posted on his web site the trailer for his latest film, “Capitalism: a Love Story”. It will premiere in competition at the Venice Film Festival. Moore’s new cinematic campaign is targeting the Wall Street business world under pressure from the global recession.
“Capitalism: a Love Story” is an ideal following to Moore’s first movie “Roger and Me”, which was probably his best effort. It analyzed causes and outcomes of the General Motors decision to layoff 40,000 workers from Moore’s hometown of Flint, in Michigan, and relocate most of the operation to Mexico.
The trailer confirms Moore’s successful ability to deliver complex information with an entertaining edge. His style is abrasive and hard-hitting, as he goes face to face with businessmen and politicians, whilst conducting interviews with the general public and using footage from the media.
